LEOS MUSICAL THEATRE COMPANY

LEOS Youth Group was formed in February 2011 with a series of drama and singing workshops. The group then moved on to their debut production of Disney’s ‘High School Musical Jr’ in July 2011.

The Youth Group has grown from strength to strength and have enjoyed performing a number of shows at the Duchess Theatre, Long Eaton.

​

LEOS Youth Group were delighted to receive NODA awards for the ‘Best Youth Show' for ‘High School Musical Jr’,
'Into The Woods Jr' and 'Madagascar A Musical Adventure Jr'.

​

The group were over the moon to receive the NODA award for the 'Best Youth Show for the whole of the East Midlands' for 'Madagascar A Musical Adventure Jr'.

​

The Youth Group also received a 'Lockdown Hero Award' for going back to rehearsals as restrictions were lifted and managing to perform 'Singing in the Rain' at the end of the pandemic. 

​

The Youth Group have also received NODA nominations in the past for their productions of ‘Seussical Jr’, 'Guys and Dolls' and 'Cats'.

Many congratulations to all involved in these productions and to all the wonderful volunteers working behind the scenes who support the group.
