LEOS MUSICAL THEATRE COMPANY

LEOS Youth Group was founded in February 2011, beginning with a series of drama and singing workshops before launching into our debut production of Disney’s High School Musical Jr. in July of that year.
 

Since then, the group has gone from strength to strength, performing a wide range of exciting shows at the Duchess Theatre in Long Eaton.

We are incredibly proud to have received multiple NODA Awards for “Best Youth Show” for High School Musical Jr, Into the Woods Jr, Madagascar: A Musical Adventure Jr and The Pirates of Penzance Jr
 

Even more exciting, Madagascar: A Musical Adventure Jr and The Pirates of Penzance Jr went on to win the prestigious NODA Award for "Best Youth Show across the entire East Midlands".
 

During the challenges of the pandemic, our members’ passion and dedication shone through. We were honoured to receive the "Lockdown Hero Award" for returning to rehearsals safely and successfully staging Singin’ in the Rain as restrictions lifted.
 

In addition, the group has proudly received NODA nominations for Seussical Jr, Guys and Dolls, Cats, Matilda Jr, Oklahoma! School Edition and Aladdin Jr.
 

None of this would be possible without the incredible talent, energy, and commitment of our young performers and the dedicated volunteers working tirelessly behind the scenes. Together, we create unforgettable theatre experiences for both our cast and our audiences.
